Brew & Cook started because we were tired of reading reviews written by people who clearly had never touched the product. Every machine, every knife, every air fryer on this site has been used in a real kitchen by a real person for at least two weeks before we write a single word.
We make money through Amazon affiliate commissions. When you click our links and buy, we earn a small percentage — at no extra cost to you. That's the full extent of how our business model works. No brand deals. No sponsored reviews. No free products accepted.
How we test
For espresso machines, we pull at least 30 shots across multiple grind sizes and coffee types before forming any opinion. For air fryers, we cook chicken thighs, frozen fries, and vegetables — the three most common use cases. For knives, we use them for a full month of regular cooking before rating edge retention.
We compare products side by side where possible. Every score is based on: performance, build quality, ease of use, value for money, and long-term reliability (based on owner reports and our own extended testing).
Our standards
We never change a rating based on what a brand wants. We never accept payment for coverage. If a brand sends us a product unsolicited, we disclose it and treat it exactly the same as something we bought ourselves. Most of our products are purchased at retail — we use the same Amazon links you do.
If we get something wrong, we fix it. Our reviews are updated when products get meaningful firmware updates, price changes, or when new competitors enter the market and change our recommendation.
